Roberto Trevino has a broad experience base developed through serving in companies of all sizes, from start-ups to Fortune 100, in a variety of financial and operational roles, including: CFO, VP-Finance & Operations, Treasurer, Director of Finance, Chair-Audit Committee, and Board Member.
His areas of expertise include financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and reporting; and creating and leading financial and operational processes efficiently, to achieve execution of business strategy and results. In his career, he has led financial turnarounds successfully; performed due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures; opened two companies in Mexico; and has experience in the technology sector (software and services), manufacturing and logistics, and investor relations.
Roberto has a BS degree from the University of South Alabama (International Business), an MBA from University of Tennessee (Logistics and Operations), and an MS degree in Finance from The Simon School at the University of Rochester. He served as Treasurer of mPowering, a nonprofit organization that is pioneering the use of mobile technology to empower the world’s poor to break free of the multigenerational cycle of poverty (mPowering’s model was later adopted by the United Nations). He also served as Chair of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross, Greater Rochester (NY) Chapter. He is fluent in Spanish.
