James Jackson is a TechCXO Finance & Operations partner who specializes in CFO support services and M&A transaction support, particularly for companies with $5M to $150M in revenue.

James provides CFO, financial consulting and transaction advisory services to private and publicly-traded companies.

James has held the lead role for acquisition transaction advisory services for in excess of 100 transactions working closely with the buyers and sellers to help identify key accounting and financial issues impacting proposed transactions. Post transaction, he works closely with the buyers and sellers in determining the final working capital and other post integration issues. His industry experience includes manufacturing, distribution, leasing, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, international, technology and financial services.

During his impressive career, James served as managing shareholder of Elliott Davis‘ Atlanta office and was a member of the firm’s executive committee.

James previously directed the internal audit department of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, was a corporate controller for a multi-property hotel company, and was an assurance manager with PWC.

James graduated from the University of Georgia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA) and Association for Corporate Growth.
