THE CHALLENGE
- Competing with larger industry competitors such as HD Supply, Maintenance Supply Headquarters, Wilmar, Grainger, and Amazon Business
- In terms of services and products offered, there is very little differentiation between AZ Partsmaster and their competitors other than scale
- Minimal available leadership team capacity with expertise to formulate a strategic go-to-market plan for a new service offering encompassing changes to a variety of internal processes, system enhancements, and new technologies.

- Design, develop and pilot launch a managed services offering that incorporates a complete understanding of the company’s internal business procedures, and new processes, systems, and technologies required to implement and scale the managed service
- Formulate a strategic go-to-market plan for the managed services offering
RESULTS
While AZ Partsmaster is in the early stages of implementing the new managed services offering, AZ Partsmaster is already experiencing strong acceptance from each of the clients participating in the initial pilot program. The managed services offering empowers AZ Partsmaster’s clients to optimize their spend, standardize what they buy, and improve the efficiency of their maintenance personnel. This new offering also allows clients to maximize the quality of service delivered and enhance the resident experience in the apartment communities they serve. AZ Partsmaster has also been able to realize internal efficiencies including reducing the number and frequency of orders and deliveries while increasing the efficiency of the sales and customer service teams.
